It fills me with an equal sense of accomplishment and excitement. It also provides validation of my skills knowing that someone has looked at my portfolio and felt that they could trust me to capture their day/event/moment
Photography is powerful because it can capture those fleeting moments, allowing them to be relived. More often than not, the client isn't even aware of what's happened at their planned event due to committing their time (hopefully) speaking with all their family and friends. So when they receive their gallery, it might go something like "when did that happen?!"
